In Transit 03:00
Sat on a train, to somewhere else, Alone again, talk to ourselves, A backwards glance, to what's behind, Learnt from mistakes we made then The passing lives, all open plan, I'm sorry, I don't understand, Why we should look, beyond today, Still saving for the future I know you feel the way I feel, I know you hurt as much as me, I know we're going the same way, I know you cry the way I cry, May be why we're together now, I know it's how I want to stay It's taken time, to get this far, Not just sat back, but taking part, Still holding out, for something new, It keeps me smiling, The passing lives, all open plan, I'm sorry, I don't understand, Why we should look, beyond today, When we're still smiling

I know I make more enemies than friends The roads I choose always seem to be dead ends I’m the master of bad decision making I never read, the writing on the wall Will you stand by me of me or will you watch me fall. My heart is full, with what I care for It's fit to burst, that’s what it's there for I’m the master of bad decision making I never read, the writing on the wall Will you stand by me or will you watch me fall I would go out tonight But I haven’t got a cross to bear Just because we’re not singing, of protest and politics It doesn’t mean that we don’t care My life is full, of half read books Guessing games and misread looks I’m the master of bad decision making I never read, the writing on the wall Will you stand by me or will you watch me fall

I’m sorry, I know it’s the wrong reaction But I’m not sad to see him go His leaving, has set off a chain reaction And I’m just here to let you know This could be what we’ve both been waiting for A secret smile, a stolen kiss I never wanted anything like I want this My beating heart My blushing face I never wanted anything I’m grateful for this distraction I couldn’t feel worse today So perfect, so beautiful But so far away This could be what we’ve both been waiting for

about

"In Feb 2002, Travis Cut recorded their 3rd and final John Peel session. A few weeks later they went back into Premier Studios with Iain Wetherall and recorded the same 4 songs. It was meant to be the first session for their 4th album. Instead, nearly 2 decades later, they are finally seeing the light of day" 3 of those 4 songs appear on this limited vinyl release, available from Brassneck Records on either orange or neon yellow vinyl.
